
BARCELONA—Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 will open tomorrow, February 4th, at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, promising a spectacular journey into the future of technology.
With over 1,600 exhibitors and a sprawling 92,000m² show floor, the event redefines the audiovisual (AV) and systems integration landscape. This year’s edition will run through February 7th and will be the most impressive yet, featuring groundbreaking innovations, immersive performances, and invaluable insights from industry leaders.
Hub of innovation and immersive experiences
Attendees can anticipate various interactive displays and first-hand access to cutting-edge advancements in the AV industry.
A highlight will be the award-winning 193m² LED screen at the South Access of Fira Gran Via, which will provide helpful information and host a series of mesmerizing performances over three evenings.
On Tuesday, digital artist Quayola, known for projection mapping on Casa Batlló, will present “Promenade.” On Wednesday, Jeroen van der Most, an ISE 2024 keynote speaker, will present “Evolution Unbound,” exploring the future with AI. Finally, on Thursday, Alice Labourel, a French artist, will present “A Tiny Bead of Pure Life,” a work from the Llum BCN 25 lights art festival.
These artistic showcases, which combine technology and creativity, begin at 18:30 after the show floor closes. The Real Time Department is developing the interactive content on the transparent LED screen.
Robotics
Another major attraction will be the Robotics and Drone Arena in Hall 8.1. Covering nearly 700m² and curated by LANG AG, the arena will feature live demonstrations of the latest robotics and drone technology advancements.
Attendees can expect to see Unitree Humanoid Robots and Robotic Dogs, along with the New Pilot Experience by DJI, allowing control of FPV drones through an obstacle course. VergeAero will also demonstrate the capabilities of its new X7 drones, and students from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia will create drone art throughout the week.

Smart Home Technology and the CEDIA Conference
The CEDIA Smart Home Gallery in Hall 2 (booth 2C400) will showcase the future of smart home technology with real-world projects designed to educate the design and build community. Cinema Build Systems curated the gallery, which will feature digital canvas solutions from Vieunite by Allsee. Adjacent to the Connected Classroom, it will offer insights into designing and implementing smart home systems for architects and designers.
The Smart Home Technology Conference, from Tuesday to Thursday in CC1, offers expert-led daily workshops and courses for attendees to broaden their knowledge, improve skills, and develop their businesses.
CEDIA tracks will cover topics such as Lighting & Wellness, Business Strategies & Project Management, Power Management, Energy & Sustainability, Home Cinema & Immersive Audio, AI & Tech Trends, Architecture, Design & Build, Control Systems & Assistive Technologies, and IT, Networking & Cybersecurity. Some sessions will be in Spanish.
Innovation and Startups
Innovation Park, a new show feature, will be a hub for startups presenting advancements in audiovisual technology and smart building solutions. The Pitching Stage, curated by Plug & Play, will provide a platform for emerging businesses to share their ideas.
The inaugural ISE Hackathon is also a highly anticipated addition to ISE 2025. Student teams from ESADE, UPC, UPF, Bocconi University, HEC, and La Salle will compete for the ISE Hackathon trophy, addressing real-world challenges in cybersecurity (sponsored by Hikvision), sustainability (sponsored by PPDS), and innovation (sponsored by EIT).
The Hackathon begins on Thursday, February 6th, and concludes on Friday, February 7th, with project presentations and an awards ceremony.

Free content and networking
In addition to paid conferences, a free content program will be available. The Smart Home Technology Stage in Hall 2 (Stand 2F350) will offer various discussions and networking opportunities. The stage program includes sessions on topics such as technology, design, business, and future trends. Attendees can also visit the AVIXA Xchange LIVE stage in Hall 3, the Live Events Stage in Hall 6, and the Esports Arena in Hall 8.1.
